Reflections from: The Olympics ❄️ "I Hate it When They Fall."⛸️

With the Olympic Games come to a close, you can't help but feel that we've witnessed something extraordinary.

Years of preparation, thousands of hours, and sacrifices no one sees.

All the time put in comes down to one performance.

And sometimes… they fall.

A blade catches wrong.

A landing slips.

A moment doesn’t go as planned, and the crowd audibly gasps.

It feels like all momentum is lost.

But what happens next?

There’s no pause button.

No redo.

No time to spiral.

They stand up.

They find the music again.

They finish the routine.

Because at that level, excellence isn’t about never falling.

It’s about how quickly you can return to yourself.

In leadership, in career, in life; we all have “Olympic moments.”

Presentations.

Hard conversations.

Bold decisions.

And sometimes we miss the landing.

The question isn’t: Did you fall?

The question is: What did you do to get back into rhythm?

Resilience is practiced.

And every leap — even the imperfect ones — builds it.
